Seriously, is it wrong to get a schoolgirl crush on an online shop? OMG! I just very recently discovered the most amazing treasure trove of vintage clothing for woman at:
www.shrimptoncouture.com. A finely edited selection spanning all eras of the last century and well into this one. Edwardian, Victorian, and all decades of designer couture from the 30's to the present. Gulp. Each piece posted fits divinely into the fashion feel of today.
She even has a selection of artists who rework vintage pieces, from the Glamourai's own reworked vintage silk kimonos (called Glamourwraps) to fiercely reworked jewelry by the likes of Norwegian Wood, and RSVP. I've reprinted some of my personal faves, you know, the ones I'd LOVE to see hanging in my closet, but why don't you scuttle over there right now to discover your faves?
