Canadian Blossoms

 Once upon a time...

Fairy godmothers, Jemina the Fair  and  Lovely Lynzy picked 15 lucky girls from all over the world to exchange some fashionable gifts. They called it a care package swap.

The theme was floral.

Bella hadn't a clue as to what to expect, and she waited...

Then one day, a day a little more maple-y than others, she got a package in the mail. From Canada. In it was a beautiful box that contained a lovely note and some hand-made blossoms crafted by Carissa McCraig of Copious Couture. She found a cream colored chiffon headband, and two floral fabric pins. Canadian Blossoms.

The handwritten note was short & sweet:

Bella likes her Canadian blossoms.
And she had just the dress to wear them.

The travelling bag is to die for. And the idea of the surprise is so very nice. Nothing like getting a present in the post. And if it is a bunch of had made flowers, even more.
What a delicious post. I can look at it over and over again.

  5. Thank you, dearies!
@ Sacramento: And I thought I had another Spanish follower, lol.
@ Sonia: I do love Laura Ashley, but the dress is by Carol Anderson, who also did a plethora of cotton floral prints in the '80's. In fact, I now have about 5 pieces, quite a sweet collection!

  10. I love the idea of having a pen pal. It's kind of like blogging on a more intimate level. I like that blogging allows me to have friends all over the world, but it's a bit impersonal and it's hard to connect to people on a one-to-one level in a blog post. If only I were better about snail mail things!
