This Labor Day weekend marked the 20th anniversary of the Chalk it Up! Festival in Fremont park, and the celebration was a 3-day event filled with painted sidewalks, vendors, a beer garden and live bands, live bands, live bands. I went on the first day and snapped some shots of folks getting started on their works of sidewalk art. Here are my 3 favorite pictures:

ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've always loved too these art draws on the ground but have personally never tried to do one by myself ... :-)
I love this stuff, especially the ones that make you double take because you think there's water on the sidewalk or a giant hole. hope your labor day weekend is relaxing and fun!
