Miracle Ice Cream Miracle's truck comes down the little avenue, Scott Joplin ragtime strewn behind it like pearls, and, yes, you can feel happy with one piece of your heart. Take what's still given: in a room's rich shadows a woman's breasts swinging lightly as she bends. Early now the pearl of dusk dissolves. Late, you sit weighing the evening news, fast food miracles, ghostly revolutions, the rest of your heart. Now Wearing:

ReplyDeleteThank-you Lisa! The photos were taken in a back alley behind the HQ. I really have a soft spot for forsaken alleys and overgrown roads.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I'm loving those tan accessories - particularly the shoes! And I do heart that cardi too. I can never ever seem to find good knitwear when thrifting (what do we call that in Europe?!) so kudos!

ReplyDeleteLOL. For the record the ice cream prop is NOT real ice cream. It was too hot, so I made a ball out of wrapping tissue, and voila: ice creamo!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics and cardigan!;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, i laughed reading that ice cream comment, i'm going to have to make lots of fake icecream props now!

Lovin' the layered look --- and the color combos! You always look so put together and indie at the same time. xo
ReplyDeleteHi There! I just wanted to tell you that I took your comment to heart and hopped onto vista print, designed me so business cards, sticker labels for purchase wrapping, return address labels, and streamlined my whole operation. This is something I had been putting off for over a year now. I don't know why, but your comment was like a swift kick in the behind, and a reminder that I could be doing much more for my business. I have been VERY lax over the past few months in regards to listing and, well, just taking myself seriously, but now I feel like I can really do this thing! Oh Citizen Rosebud, Thank you so so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts. Its amazing how much the little things we do in this world can impact others. In ways we can never fully know. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love how you layered these slip tops and coordinated the cardigan with the under layer. I mean, It looks like it matches. Also, your belt bracelet thingy is a new invention to my mind! WHY HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS!!?? If I ever do this on my blog (and I will) I will totally credit you!
Ah leather and lace- I love it! And thank you so much for the sweet comment- I would love (LOVE) to be a model for you any day. Maybe I could get over my camera shyness as well :)
ReplyDeleteHey Second Skin, glad i could help! I think I'll head over to vista print and get me some stickers!
ReplyDeleteSee her blog in my blogroll? Go check her out!
It's so funny to see this here because yesterday I was CONVINCED i heard the ice cream truck while I was in my apartment. Apparently it was just someone's cell phone ringing as they walked below my open window. But boy did I have my hopes up. I think I may need to treat myself to an ice cream cone tomorrow to make up for the disappointment I incurred.
ReplyDeleteBecca YOU deserve a good ice cream cone!
ReplyDeleteice cream, yuuuum!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit, I like the bag and cardigan! xo
