California Girl: Lindsay Rickman

Guess who one of the local vendors is going to be at tomorrow's awesome Created in California Shopping Tweet-up? Yep. My homeslice, Lindsay Rickman. 

Created in California is a one-night event at the Hot Italian featuring California made goods, specifically hand-made goods. Lindsay's line, Lindsay 23 is a perfect fit with her original & reconstructed designs. She creates each piece as a one-of-a-kind, using re-purposed fabrics and notions and putting the elements together in fresh way. Her latest collection is heavy on the polka dots, which you know I love! So I talked her into slipping into a couple of her creations and letting me take some impromptu photos of her in the studio.

Lindsay Rickman's collection is available at the Citizens of Rosebud every Sunday or by appointment, and you can find some of her favorite pieces for sale this Wednesday night at the Hot Italian. Prices start at $45.
