inspiration: REAL citizens



The best thing about blogging is discovering and getting to know real life people. Folks who LOVE fashion in the best possible way, living THEIR style, not shyly lifted from the glossy pages of magazines, but boldly ripped from the pages of their LIVES. People showcasing not model-perfect features, but the toothsome happiness of being comfortable in their own skin.     I find Iris Apfel to be such an inspiration. I'm hoping to be half as stylish when I'm her age. Even at my age, I love her bold color and print choices. Her aesthetic is just so cheerful.

    Totally agree with what you say. And that photo of Iris Apfel is incredible! She is so striking in every photo.. I have a massive folder of inspirational photos I've found while surfing, and i always enjoy looking through them. There is a wealth of fashion and photography out there.
