Sleepwalker or Insomniac?
How do you choose to dream your life?
The one-of-a-kind creations of 2ETN seem to stream from a different world than this one. Surreal and dreamlike, the artisanal jewelry of Pamela Tuohy is at once nostalgic and fashion-forward. Inspired by Victorian Mourning & Memory jewelry, designer Pamela Tuohy along with her artist-husband Edward Thomas Novinsky, create singular, objects d'art to wear while you dream-up your own future memories.
My interview with Sacramento-based jewelry designer, Pamela Tuohy was published this month in my favorite local magazine, the Midtown Monthly. If you want to read more about this amazing designer and her inspiring outlook, you can read the interview by clicking here. (And while you're there read the terrific article written by my b*friend who always makes a great read. You can read D's article here.)
LOVE that last piece with the skull, gorgeously gothic.

Chicktopian's really dug it and one new 'fan' made me an honorary style council member ;)
I may be switching over to the 'Topian' society as that site seems a bit more universal and open.
( though for some reason, I have a hard time navigating the site....)

just checked out your interview and left you a comment there as well. but wanted to tell you here also - great interview! i'm officially in love with pamela. i love her appreciation for slow processes and craftsmanship. it's so rare to hear anyone care about that nowadays. one of the reasons i love the blogging community is because i feel like it's made up of many people who ARE genuinely concerned with the diminishing amount of craftsmanship in the world and care to help the issue. once again you've proven just how vital a part of the larger picture you are.
ReplyDeletemuch love to you bella! i've missed you so much these past few days i've been mia with all that was going on in new york. =)
