Let's Get Parochial: there's nothing like indulging your inner school-girl |
Here's hoping this will be the last set of poorly lit indoor shots for a long while. The studio is close to being ready for our Citizens of Rosebud April- Fool-For-You vintage Hoe-Down & Extravaganza. We're just making the final touches of pretty (oh yeah, and pricing EVERYTHING) for our grand, grand, grand, grand, grand re-opening.
I'm thinking of posting some pics of my favorite pieces over here; what do you think, should I? If so, should I post prices and accept reservations, and/or online purchases? I do have my as yet to be utilized shop blog, shopthecitizen.com, and if enough people are interested would be happy to oblige. Let me know in the comments.

you are such a sight!! there is nothing i don't love about this outfit. it's a great take on the school girl look - quite a bit more sophisticated and streamlined without losing the playfulness. you are so good at never losing the playfulness of a look and it's something i admire greatly.
ReplyDeleteyour eyebrows, btw, are so cool. i was just admiring them for several minutes.

You are rockin' it today Bella - utter, utter gorgeousness on show here. The green tights are insane and **gasp** the jacket - I want one!!!!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteMy dear, dear Bella. I would love your blog to be about you and what you are.
ReplyDeleteIf I were you, I would put the shop on the right handside SHOP BELLA´S or something like that, keeping the the centre free for you.
There is nothing more off putting than blogs who throough on your face shops and brands. In the end you cannot find the person who the blog is about.
Much love always.

I didn´t tell you how hot you look.
ReplyDeleteMil beso corazón.

Total and utter gorgeousness! Love the tights and you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your sales! xxx
I teach in a school where the girls wear plaid every day and leave saying they will never wear it again...maybe if they could have green legs, they would like it better!! So much more fun than knee socks!!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking amazing as usual! I really love that jacket. I wish I lived in Sacramento so I could mosey on down to your shop. That sounds like fun:)
ReplyDeleteBella, you look so cool and beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the Vintage 1960's Tapestry Tote !!!!

I'd love to see some more pieces over at your online shop! Also, these tights are pretty great. I really need to get around to buying a pair from this stellar company :o)
ReplyDeleteYay Kelly Green Tights!!! I have the same exact pair and wore them on St. Patty's day. So much fun. This outfit is really fun (as your outfits always are). How exciting about your re-opening!!! :)
ReplyDeletexo
You know how much I love plaid! And you!! Those green tights and booties are awesome.
ReplyDeleteBTW - Kristy is right - you do have great brows! I love the way they curve up!

You make catholic school garb look good, and that's saying somethin comin from a recovering catholic school girl!! And I bet you didn't even hide cuss words in the plaid, which was a trend I started in 6th grade!! That was the only way I saw to make a uniform cool, but you've changed my mind!!
ReplyDeleteI'm more a shopper than a buyer, but I would definitely be interested in pricing and purchasing capability for pieces that move me -- either as blog entries, or as outfit links to your shop. Paypal makes this stuff pretty easy. I *can* be moved to buy if something really strikes me.
ReplyDeleteLike that teal-toned tapestry bag! Probably expensive to ship, though.
You are picture perfect in every way. As a good ole catholic school girl ( wink wink ), everything about that outfit speaks to me. I'd wear it in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteHappy happy Monday !
Doreen
School girl cuteness!! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving your green tights!!!
I think you should definitely post snaps of stuff.....would love to see what's up for grabs!!
I love the jacket. Great take on the school girl look!

You are so stinkin' cute, Bella! I love that bag. And the tights -- wow!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'm so excited for your store re-re-reeeee-opening. I plan to be a loyal customer in no time :)
I'd watch the video but I'm on a college campus surrounded by kids doing homework. Wouldn't want to distract! Be back later!!!
You look so great in this! I would love for you to put stuff online. I think a lot of people would be interested.
ReplyDeleteMy Heart Blogged
The skirt and tights combo are too cool. You are looking very smart, Bella. I would love it if you posted pics of the stuff in your store.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd love to see the stuff in your store and have a chance to buy online. Oh, btw, you're adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteYes, don't you know every woman loves her a "sneak preview"!?
Did I just get a pop-up ad??
Do you not get texts btw? Was in Sac yesterday and totally texted you the night before.
*muah*
OMG I had a dream about you last night!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou owned a fabulous clothing store, and I asked you if I could work there in the afternoons and weekends when I wasn't teaching! You were a little hesitant at first, but when I said I would work for minimum wage just to hang out at your shop, you happily agreed. Then I made milkshakes.
Nikki
LOL, Lil Bits, I seriously hope this dream comes true. Especially the milkshakes.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, lady!! I love the green tights. They take the outfit from good to fab! :) I think posting a few of your favorites couldn't hurt!
ReplyDeletethe green tights are excellent with this look.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me more about that jacket - like how much it costs and what size it is and where you'll be selling it and if I have to go to Sacramento to get it.
ReplyDeleteYou know where to find me.
