Quicksilver Linings

This is going to be a short posts folks. I'm trying to get some equilibrium with some of my projects underway, and the gloomy grey days here in Sac-town aren't helping me much. I don't do well in this weather, and am not an ounce of inspired to dress up in any sort of notable way. In fact, I've pretty much been wearing the same sweater and white jean combo for the past two days, and if it wasn't for getting some mud on my pants, I'd be opting for them in the morning. I'll try to doll up a bit tomorrow and share a few of my favorite recent looks.

But there is a lovely silver lining today. Vanessa over at My Heart Blogged wrote a wonderfully sweet feature of me over at her blog, and I'd like very much for you to check it out.   Click here for bloggy goodness.

  5. Come on Bella...the ladies of California look to you to be the silver lining in the grey clouds...you need to pop out with your wonderful, creative color and give everyone hope that there can be smiles amidst gloom...you can do it because you have done it in the past so well!!!!

  6. I hope the rain, and gloom lets up for you soon. It's going to sleet here, and then snow again. This weather is messing with my head.

  8. Chin up, sweetie! I know what a downer the weather can be - we went from Spring weather to 30 - 40 degree days again. YUCK. Sunshine is around the corner, though!

Loved the feature Vanessa did on you.

  10. You're right, I'm also uninspired with outfits right now! I got a taste of good weather, busted out the floral dresses and flats, and now this? I can't go back to boots and sweaters, I've already moved on! pout.

  14. Well, no need to worry dear Reva, lol. Just because it's been to soggy to dress up, doesn't mean I'm in the dumps. Just busy with a lot of juggling to do. Can't make the blog rounds as much- I try my best but hope you understand.
Today a lovely thrill of sun and NO RAIN or WIND! Loved it. -Bella Q

  15. We all need down days, to rest and think and putter...then we come roaring back to productivity. Take care of yourself, and keep the style blogging fun, not a duty! We'll still be here even if you need to lay low in the same sweater and jeans for a few days.
