What was my life before my iPhone? iDunno. Seriously, I haven't a clue. The above shots were taken by me of me on that little indispensable hand-held device that I now take with me everywhere. And I now use for everything: calender, alarm clock, mini-laptop, tweet medium, Netflix player, blog reader, GPS and direction finder, and oh yeah, the occasional phone call. But mostly as a camera.
Speaking of pictures, I posted some pics taken at the Citizen Rosebud studio last Friday, the day of the vintage sale. A big shout out to those who came by and showed their support: THANK YOU! The post is over on the SHOP THE CITIZEN blog and you can read it HERE.
Now I'm off to get ready and pack for my upcoming trip to New York. I can't wait to share my adventures with you!
oooh, you cheeky monkey! Loving these snapshots. Seriously, what would we do without camera phones, social media apps and all the techy stuff?
ReplyDeleteAm wishing I could be in NY for the IFB conference, boo... maybe i'll just have to watch the livestream when i'm done with work.
Have a fab week cherub!

Waaaaaaa! Everyone seems to have one but me, will just have to be old-skool a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteI'm still using an absolute dinosaur of a phone so I feel justified in finally looking forward to getting an i-phone, as my ancient beast is beginning to give up the ghost. Love these self-portraits. Really looking forward to hearing all about your forthcoming New York adventures...
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly the same way about my iPhone! In fact, just the other night, Hubby and I watched videos we've shot over the last year on my iPhone, and relived the memories.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get some shots of US into both our phones!
OK, OK - I have to get one! You are so much fun to follow : >

That's so funny! After telling my husband that I really wasn't interesting in an iphone, that I was happy with my blackberry; I ended up getting one before the data rate went up. I SWEAR I don't know HOW could have thought that I didn't want it! It rarely leaves my hot little hands! LOVE your pictures....gotta love black and white photography! Enjoy your time in NY! I'm excited for you! Big Apple hugs! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is so amazing. I love the shadows and your expression. And yes, I am attached to my iPhone as well and am continually upgrading my skills. Will be following your NYC adventures.
ReplyDeleteI am not ashamed to say that I would be totally LOST without my iPhone. I had a BlackBerry previously, and it just could not keep up with my craaaaazy life. Apple products are slowly taking over the world.

Oh, I love the second photo--the little freckles of light. But, I'm still holding out on the cellphone...
ReplyDeleteLol! I've always thought a person who can laugh at his/her own expense is the one with the greatest sense of humour! And you've proved me right, girl! :D
ReplyDeleteHave a happy & safe journey......waiting to hear from NYC!
