I agree completely! I happen to have a bit of a "matchy matchy" style, but in the last couple years have just put things together a bit more changing it up a bit! I was just thinking this morning about how warm it is in LA LA Land...80 today where I am...so wintery! ;)

i am a matchy-matcherson and i need to quit! i love the mix with the neutral tones... i think i might need to step out of my comfort zone and approach the mix in this way. And I definitely need to come out to the shop before xmas! if not to gift someone, to gift myself! heehee!

Looove that blouse!! It does go well with the sweater. I'm still learning and practicing how to wear seemingly non-matching things together because my impulse when dressing is to just match everything. I think I get that from my mother, lol!

Lucky lady! I look like a crazy person running around town with bare legs. Our highs are only in the 40s but I just am not a fan of tights. :) I think this is one of those outfits that goes together intuitively. You just know it works without any fashion rules dictating it so.

When you're excited for cooler weather it's a lot less painful! We had shorts weather here early on Thanksgiving morning and I was super happy. Obviously, I'm not ready for winter. Hehe.
