Back in Seattle, garments that can quickly dry are good! My outfit was worn on a day I ran errands, so I was pleased with how easy it was to walk around in- I walked nearly 3 miles and the whole time I was warm, comfortable and full of "holiday cheer."

Christmas is around the corner, and are you ready? I am not. I seem to be running behind schedule in everything- but isn't that what the holidays are about? Well aside from "good tidings of great joy." I still have Christmas cards to mail, and a few gifts to get. Oh! And I have some good tidings of my own to share with you- some good news!

Cute! I love that coat, especially...I've got a fantastic Pendleton 49'er jacket in a similar red & green tartan, that I've actually never worn! You've inspired me! I'm gonna pull that puppy out and rock it while I've got the chance :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new endeavour! Love the boots and socks.

ReplyDeleteWonderful...love the tartan coat..so gorgeous and the dress is wonderful..just love those boots those, such a great find!! That happens to me too, not a lot of colour is worn around here or everyone dresses the same, so when my family and I go out, people stare like we're the Addams Family or something, which is fine with me ;) Have a swish weekend doll!! x

ReplyDeleteI loved Christmas in Seattle. (And since you know how I felt about living there the other 11 months of the year, you know how great the Christmas must be.) The Revels in Tacoma, cheap Nutcracker seats in the second balcony, The Christmas Carol at the Rep, Magical Strings Celtic concert, Peppermint Cake at one of Tom Douglas's great restaurants, and all the lights everywhere. Not to mention Ice Skating and the Carousel. Enjoy your first Christmas in Seattle.
Congratulations on being made editor Rosebud, well deserved. And I love your outfit, those boots, that hat and that lovely coat! I want to steal them all from you. It's wet here too so I know how good it is to have clothes that dry out quickly, especially when you're wearing them. xx
