Mother and Daughter. |
Recently my mom paid a visit to the Pacific Northwest. We've been having a blast together, hanging out, catching up, and me showing her my stomping grounds here in the Emerald City. As a Mother's Day gift, I gave her something she'd been admiring for quite a while, a dress from Karina Dresses. I even ordered us matching ones, so we could play dress up, something I remember having fun doing as a young child.
I've got a guest post over at the Karina Chronicles- featuring a series of Mother-Daughter portraits of me and my preciosa mamacita. And of course we couldn't resist wearing our lovely new frocks from Karina. You can see us in our full technicolor glory by clicking HERE.
Happy Mother's Day, my dears!
Please say I am first to tell you how AWESOME this post is! That is just the sweetest thing ever to see that black hair on you, and then on your mom! And dress-up is the best! Cannot wait to see the rest of the pics and read more!

Your mom is beautiful. You guys look alike. I'd totally wear this dress. It has bright colors that I like. I know dubbed me a minimalist - and I am most of the time - but if I had to wear color, this dress would be something I go for.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a fantastic weekend.
You are both beautiful! I love this. Becky :)
ReplyDeleteYou do look just like your mum Bella, and she looks fantastic, I had a little shock when I read she was seventy two because she doesn't look it at all, it sounds like you both share the same adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life too. xx
ReplyDeleteBella, these are fabulous photos of you and your lovely mum. I checked out your full post on the Karina page and I know how you feel as my 19yr old daughter and I constantly get the same comments ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love wrap dresses and this fabulous dress proves that they are perfect for any age and figure. You are a perfect ambassador and you both look stunning!

You 2 really DO look alike. Both looking gorgeous! At least you know that you will grow all very gracefully indeed, judging by how your mom looks!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! You both seem so full of life and happy to be together. That dress is fab.
ReplyDeleteYou both! So full of joy!
ReplyDeleteBesos!!!
Love the picture and it's not surprising that you and your mother seem to have a nice relationship because you seem like a genuinely nice person!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, both of you! That dress is universally flattering, and the pattern is just lovely (but I can't find the three-quarter sleeve version on the webste?). My Mom has been trying to hunt down a flattering wrap dress for ages and can't seem to find anything in Canada - and I have been thinking of buying her a Karina. Are you and your Mom tall, Bella? I know Mom wouldn't like anything above the knee. Anyway, thanks for the great post. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I love your extra-lit-up smile.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Great bonding idea. I wish I could have done that with my mother. Good for you.
ReplyDeletedoubled fabulousness!!, and extra fun!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fab photo! I'm sure she loves that dress.
