Pulp Fiction: Inspired Cover Art


Perhaps I've been on Netflix and Hulu a bit too much as of late- watching old film noir flicks. But my recent photos and listing my collection of 1950s whimsies and hats, with a little tweaking could easily make some great pulp fiction covers, don't you think?



I had a lot of fun on PicMonkey (again!) making these faux Noir covers, and I'm taking part of Teal Tuesday today, and getting inspired by all the lovely chatter amongst patterns for Shiny T Tuesday at Flight Living Platform.

 Ok, I'm back to the grindstone, listing for the shops, and trying to earn my keep. Happy Tuesday, peeps!

    I picked up some great pulps the last time I was at Powell's in PDX. So lurid.

    I've been enjoying these hat shots. Looks like you're having fun with it!
    I finally found the negs of me in my 1978 hat designs -- will post once I get my neg-converter/digitizer gadget.

    Love it. You did such a good job. Had to laugh. They really make you want to see the movie or read the book.

    I love your posters! You should definitely use those in your Etsy shop - and for Rosebud magazine.

    You make a brilliant femme fatal. Can we do a Noir Heroine day? You'd be completely glam, packin' a piece in your garter and sipping a Gimlet. Icey eyed through the veil of you hat, of course.
