Shoe Shine: Red Hot Summer

Red Hot Summer Shoes!

How many pairs of red shoes do you own? I'm at 5 or 6 pajrs and the temperature's rising. I can not get enough of summer red shoes!

This week, my BFF is visiting and you know what she was wearing. RED SHOES. Gorgeous, comfy and walkable, some Hush Puppies number- in a berry red. So, you would have thunk that I'd have taken a picture of them to post for July's Shoe Shine, but nope. Didn't occur to me, until now. I may have to post them later!

Now it's time for YOU to share the shoes that make you a star. They don't need to be red. They just need to make you feeling sizzling hot. Add your link to the summer shoes that are doing just that- you have until Friday to join in!

  1. I only have two pairs of red - one is sandals, and one is shoes. I guess I need more!

I'll be bringing some leopard wedges over to be Shined.

  3. I don't own any red shoes, which is quite disappointing. Maybe in the near future!

Enjoy spending time with your BFF!

  4. I have a pair of red heeled sandals that I bought for my 40th birthday and rarely wear. I'll see if I can dig them out. Are the clogs Swedish Hasbeens?

  5. I must be quite boring. Only black, brown, navy, and grey. No red shoes in sight.

  6. Red shoes always, always make me think of the film. I own two dress-up pairs, though the first, satin pair are in a box ready to be sold on, and the second pair have such spiky stiletto heels with metal tips that I'm banned from walking anywhere in them other than on tarmac outside (they dent wooden floors!). These beauties make me think I'd like a flat pair for every day wear.

  7. I have a pair of suede pumps in red and a pair of suede slingbacks in red (with a flower at the front). And two pairs of red boots. I adore red shoes. And yours are very very nice. You will see my slingbacks next Monday (on the 15th). With a kimono. You will like that.

  10. Red, Red, RED!!! It's YOUR color honey! No wonder you have so many pairs of this colors in your closet!! ;)

Also, wanted to ask, does the post linked to the Shoe Shine have to be recent post and about the shoes only? Or any outfit post with the shoes I love will do?

  23. If you decide to sell the red lace-ups, and they're in a size 8.5 or 9, I'd like them. As you know, I can't wear heels or I'd go for those clogs too.
