#SHOPSECONDHANDFIRST: Pantone + Pendleton+ Plaid+ Purple = Pick-Me-Up |
Not terribly impressed with my make-shift indoor studio- which consists of a white sheet in front of a wall and a couple of photo-lamps staring at me, but it will have to to for now. I have to gear up my online listings- making a go of full time vintage seller has its challenges! So forgive the goofy folds of the background and just focus on the spectacular mix of purples! This coat is such a beautiful beast- a rare bright pink/purple Harris Tweed from the 1950s, in perfect condition. The pink looks very much like the Pantone color of the year: Radiant Orchid. Also impressive is this skirt- another minty fresh, fresh pick- a perfect Pendleton in plum. Booyah! I'm feeling pretty radiant in my get up.
Thanks to all who joined in this month's Shoe Shine! I'll be fine-tuning the show by the new year, and making it easier for each of you to participate. You are the best!

Wow what an awesome coat and skirt find- they are both gorgeous and you look fabulous xxx
wonderful mixes of plaid and purple, Bella - the coat is simply fabulous! xox
you look so snazzy! i love that entire look!
I LIKE the jacket and skirt combo.
Wonderful mix of purples. You look great.
coat and tights, love!
Better late than never, and what a gorgeous coat! And plaid mix! And YOU are the best!!! Thanks so much for the ways you lift us up and bring us all together. xo
What a fantastic outfit from head to toe, I love it all! Especially the jacket (okay shoes kinda killing me a little with envy!) I don't think I've ever seen vintage purple Pendleton ever, lucky you! I have the classic Pendleton jacket from the 40s in light blue -- keep saying I'm going to sell it, yet it remains in spite of the fact that light blue is not the best colour for me. Its just so darn pretty with its big shoulders & deep pockets (: Looking fab kiddo, better late to the party than never enjoy any of it! XXX
What a gorgeous outfit, that Harris Tweed is a killer. The hipsters go berserk for it here!

I am in love with that coat! Adorable colour combo.

That is so cute coat! And gosh I fell in love with your SHOES!! <3
radiant orchid is a colour I love, but I want a coat fitted at the waist. Looks better on me.
Love your shoes.

I like seeing plaid in unusual color combinations, and your mix here is swoon-worthy!
And I like your drapey sheet background, just like an 18th century portrait. Well, maybe not *just* like it, but definitely a C21 version of it. You're looking bella, Bella!
you're radiant and love your really fabulous coat, the fabric, the colors!, and your purple tights and shiny shoes are so amazingly cool!, hurrah for purple royale!
besos
Love the pattern and color mixing!
PurpleandPinkPlaid - a new achievement in plaid awesomeness! What a fabulous coat, and you wear it so well. I'm surprised you can let that baby go, as it looks gorgeous with your dark hair.
There are few women who could wear a simple (but fantastic) coat buttoned over a skirt and look as awesome as you do. It's all about the spirit inside and you are certainly shining in this. May I stop to catch my breath after seeing your shoes?...
Ah! Got so busy buying the scarf, that I forgot to come back and write a comment! Silly me!
A wondrous combo. If I didn't already have WAY too many winter coats, I'd get that one. The weave is entrancing.
You have such a great eye. I rely on my boyfriend when thrift shopping. I usually don't have the patience to dig for the treasures (and he DOES! KEEPER!).
xxox
You are stunning in your Purple Plaid Pendleton! Wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons, dear Bella.
